Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students, primarily elementary-aged, addressing individual needs in collaboration with educational staff.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions within the school environment.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and documentation regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in student progress meetings.
- Ensure all work aligns with school policies, including the completion of required background checks.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active North Carolina occupational therapy license is mandatory.
- Experience providing OT services in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of working with children in an educational environment, particularly in early childhood and elementary levels.
- Ability to work on-site full time without remote work accommodation.
- Commitment to completing the required NC Department of Education background check.
